Project Overview
Charting the dramatic backstory of House Targaryen, House of the Dragon is set 200 years before the events of Game of Thrones, which was a global phenomenon during its run on HBO between 2011 and 2019.
Featuring Matt Smith, Olivia Cooke, Sonoya Mizuno and Rhys Ifans, House of the Dragon launches on HBO Max on 21 August 2022.
